What a fun couple. You could tell from the way they interacted with each other it wouldn’t matter WHERE they were they would find the fun in it. They had such a good time they day of their wedding. They danced and just had a ball… And I must say photographing a wedding at Prestonwood Country Club is always fabulous! Too cute! Enjoy the pictures.
One of the things I love about photographing weddings is I get to meet all different types of people. Each couple is so unique in the way they interact, their backgrounds, hobbies, and taste. I always seem to take away a little something new from each bride and groom. My bride and groom on this occasion were considerably younger than myself. And yet during the toast the bridesmaid read a letter that was sent to her by the bride which had such mature words of wisdom. I am sure I won’t quote it exactly correct but the bride whom is a writer wrote how she was comforted by Thomas’ comment that he didn’t have to worry about whom he would marry, or what career decisions he would have to make for the Lord would take care of all of that for him. And how those words relieved her of a tremendous burden. Well the Lord certainly has provided them a beautiful wedding, with amazing friends and family to share it with and a great start to a long happy marriage.
I think what I loved most about this wedding was how unique it was, everything from the church to the colors to the bride and groom themselves. It was an amazingly beautiful wedding held at the Greek church. The church with all its history and beautiful architecture, to the ceremony which the priest informed us was exactly the same ceremony they did in the Greek church hundreds of years ago, to the vibrant teal colors in the reception and down to the outgoing and fun bride and groom who kept their guests laughing and entertained. And the incredible DANCING! There were some SERIOUS dancers in the crowd. It was clear why so many of the family and friends were there to celebrate with such a fun and outgoing couple. I hope you enjoy the wedding photographs as much as we enjoyed taking them. Enjoy!
