This is the first in a series that we will be publishing over the next couple of weeks from weddings to babies. So first we have the Best of Wedding Photography. Ok, so WOW this was hard! There were so many amazing pictures. Then there were SO MANY PICTURES! SERIOUSLY over 80,000 images in one year! It was HARD and I tried to trim it as much as possible but I had to divide it into sections to make it more reasonable. Although the weddings section is going to be crazy no matter what. I get very attached to my clients so it makes me attached to their pictures. I probably should have someone trim them for me. ; )
But first I want to thank all the photographers that worked with me this year… and there were many. For those of you who are just now looking at photographers we are actually a pretty close knit community. We help each other a lot. We share information and tips when we struggle with business issues, technical issues or other things like simply needing a 2nd shooter. And it is a community I am very proud to be a part. So although I have lead shooters and assistants there are those times when they may go on vacation, a client may want two shooters, one to be at the reception site while the other two of us are still at the church doing the formals etc. So many times I have friends who will come and shoot 2nd or assist. Also there were assistants or leads who lived in other cities who contributed their time and talent when I was shooting out of town. Then there are those who are always looking to learn and get into the business. I share with them some of my knowledge and they gladly exchange their pictures to add to the brides collection, to which I know my brides really appreciate. So with that I will try to make it short but we had a lot of weddings this year and I hope I don’t forget anyone! Thank you to especially to Gillian, Liz, and Jennifer as well as Chas, Diana, Pamela, Sarah, Lizzy, Susan, Catie, Althea and Viki. They were all amazing in their own ways and I couldn’t have done it without you! And with that here are the images that either made me laugh or cry, sit silently and just appreciate their beauty or just smile because their smile was so contagious!
