This particular senior photography session was a joy because it was wide open. I loved Laura because she is a non-conformist. She loves photography and knew exactly what she wanted. We had so much fun running all over downtown finding fun, funky cool places to shoot. And of course some classic beautiful garden and earthy backgrounds as well. She will go far I am sure with her strong sense of will and outgoing personality! Thanks Laura!!! It was a super fun shoot!

The A Family was referred to me by my lovely niece by marriage. I did not have time to contact her and thank her for the referral but when I arrived to the shoot I found out that the A family was actually related to my niece which makes them family to me as well! We took pictures of the family all together and the mom had wanted some of her daughter in her sash from homecoming and a headshot for her yearbook senior portrait. It ended up turning into a mini-senior session! She was so beautiful! The younger daughter had been crowned home coming queen that year. She never expected to win so it was funny that after the game was rained out and the entire student body was sent inside to announce the winners, she came in wearing rain boots instead of heels. So when she won, she took her homecoming queen picture in rain boots to her delight and to her mother’s horror. So of course her mother brought her homecoming dress and we retook those pictures so that her mother had a picture of her beautiful daughter in her whole homecoming outfit. We did pretty well fitting in all those sessions into one big photo session I thought.  And don’t those parents make such beautiful girls?!!! Watch out boys! Here they come!

Brad is athletic, fun and looks great on film (so to speak since we actually use digital).  But the camera does love him.  We had a ball running all over Raleigh photographing him for a modeling agency.  We wanted to show how Brad looked in a lot of different types of situations. Needless to say we had a lot of fun getting all these different looks!  I am guessing he is probably pretty popular with the girls at school.  Just a hunch.  ;  ) Great job Brad!

Courtney is such a great girl. So athletic and sweet. She has coached my child’s swim team since the oldest was 3 years old. It’s always strange how I never seem to age and yet these kids keep getting bigger and then low and behold turn into adults. (I am going to work on a way to stop that from happening to my own.) She is beautiful inside and out as you can see a glimpse from her Senior Session.

I am not sure how old Emily was when I first met her.  I think 14 perhaps?  She and her sisters have lived behind us ever since we moved to the neighborhood.  I can’t count how many times she has saved me when I had a portrait I needed to run off to and my husband was running late from work leaving me needing someone to watch the little ones.  It has been wonderful to watch her grow into a fine person and I can’t believe she will be off to college in year.  You can see from the pictures how much fun and cute she is and what a great time we had shooting these pictures as a final send off for her senior year!  Congrats Emily! You deserve it girl!

Hannah who loves cheer leading and ‘being social’ did great on her senior photography session. We went all over downtown Raleigh and had a ball. You look GREAT Hannah!

What a fun senior shoot! These two decided since they had spent 2 of their 3 years of high school together it was only befitting to do their senior pictures together.  We had so much fun just running around downtown playing in all different areas!  These are only a couple of the fun places we went this day.  You can tell they have a lot of fun together.  Can you say SENIORITIS!
