What a wedding. I have been hoping and praying for this bride to find someone special. Someone worthy of sharing her and her children’s lives in the absence of their amazing father. I shot her first wedding over 7 or 8 years ago. Only a couple of years into their marriage my beautiful bride lost her husband in combat. With a little one at home and being eight months pregnant it was devastating news. I don’t know anyone close to them who wasn’t heartbroken. Fast forward to the present when I received a message from Susan asking if I was up for a Susan wedding 2.0. I literally started crying. I was so happy she had found someone worthy of sharing these beautiful children with in life. I didn’t know Joaquin but after first meeting his children it was obvious he must be special. His children were so loving and sweet and they doted on Susan’s little ones. I knew not only were they special but clearly he was a VERY good Dad to have raised such great kids. If you could have seen the love and admiration in his daughter’s eyes all day it would be clear he’s an amazing Dad. Then after Susan’s Dad’s toast about the lengths he went to make sure and move the play set in the back yard to their new home. It was very clear this play set was a special piece in their lives with special memories that could not be left behind. These two families deserve all the happiness they can find. I couldn’t be happier for you all!!!!!!!!!!!
