Part 3 in Choosing the right location for your family portraits. Historic Oakview. Another one of my favorites. It can be a little crowded with photographers depending on the time of year but it’s still a great location. I love it because it has a lot of variety and can be shot at almost anytime of year. The winter can be a little tough in that only the barns and porch on the main & side house are an option for backgrounds but the rest of the year it is beautiful.
