Edith and Ivan had a beautiful wedding! Edith looked absolutely amazing in her dress with her hair styled up. Her dress was designed by a designer in New York and she just happened to stumble upon it in a trunk show here in North Carolina. She was a classic beauty! Ivan on the other hand was quite charming and funny! He definitely had that DC wit about him.
They held their ceremony in the home that Edith had grown up in, which her sister currently owned. The flowers went perfectly with the pinkish rose colors that she used throughout the wedding. They had their dog GG, who was a greyhound rescue, be a part of the ceremony. It was so adorable! She was dressed with a beautiful rose garland around her neck. I have to give her credit she was wonderful throughout the ceremony! They had a cute little ring bearer and a beautiful flower girl. The setting was just gorgeous and so intimate. It was just so intimate and so sweet with only family and close friends.
They carried on to the Carolina Country Club. The room could not have been decorated more perfectly or appropriately. The decorations brought out all the gold and rose tones of Edith’s dress. Rather than it being redder it became more of a gold-ish color which fit beautifully with all of her décor and flower arrangements. But was even more sweet was the people who surrounded Edith and Ivan through their wedding. They all loved each other so much! You could just see the tight bound between the three sisters and the brothers were adorable in the stand point that they had completely adopted Ivan, making him at home not only through kindness but as the jokers as well. It was a beautiful day and the perfect time of the year to have a wedding because you are thinking about family and those are the people who you want to be with. What a perfect time to celebrate a wedding with your family, than Thanksgiving when there is so much to be thankful for.
