Well I managed to stay up and brave the freezing cold temperatures to get a few shots of the lunar eclipse. Eclipse and astronomy in general is a love of mine. First because of the MANY jobs my father had, one happened to be a professor of astronomy in his youth. I was probably the only kid in kindergarten that had posters of nebulae all over their rooms. And sentimental because my father died on a full moon and on my wedding night without me even knowing or planning on it their was a lunar eclipse. I always felt he was guiding me to that date without my even knowing it. So the moon in general is of special significance for me. So for all those reasons and of course the fun of shooting it, I got out and took a few. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
